​​​LAMPS would like to welcome you to "Musically Mine," a new fundraiser project. The objective of this program is to build awareness of LAMPS and raise funds to support upcoming programs. The money raised during this campaign will be used to support LAMPS' local musical projects and charitable giving fund. To read more about LAMPS' work, click here.

Musically Mine is about the music you love. To participate, we are inviting you to create a short video in which you introduce and play a piece of music that is important to you. Any music, any genre – any piece that has meaning to you. Don't play an instrument? No worries, use your favorite recording of the composition instead.


Your video should be transformative, not merely a performance or broadcast. For example, you could provide analysis, reflection, appraisal, appreciation or critique. Introduce the music by explaining its significance. Where did you first hear it? Why does it move you? What is its history? What are its connections to your experience? These are just a few ideas.. Have fun with it!

If you are not a musician, but still love music, we would love for you to contribute too. Consider narrating your memories of the tune or describing the tune from your perspective...

Your video will be edited by LAMPS to include a cover logo, credits and a request for support.

Please make your submission by April 1st 2023.

Step Three: Choose a video to upload. (AVI, MOV, WMV or MP4 please.)

Step Four: Click the submit button.

Step Five: Wait for the "Thanks for Submitting!" message to appear. All done!

Photo/Video Release: I hereby grant and authorize LAMPS the right to take, edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, distribute, and make use of all pictures or video submitted by me to LAMPS to be used in and/or for legally promotional materials including, but not limited to, newsletters, flyers, posters, brochures, advertisements, fundraising letters, annual reports, press kits and submissions to journalists, websites, social networking sites and other print and digital communications, without payment or any other consideration. This authorization extends to all languages, media, formats, and markets now known or hereafter devised. I understand and agree that these materials shall become the property of LAMPS and will not be returned.
